Electric Eels Secure National League Championship Position

Hull & East Yorkshire PFC first team travelled to Nottingham on Saturday and Sunday for the Optegra Championship game week 5. Our first team gained 3 points securing their national league position for the 2025/26 season.

Electric Eels faced four tough matches against; Nottingham Forrest PFC, Leeds Dynamos, Villa Lions and Teesside Steel. Head Coach, Lee Brennan had seven players; Aston Walls, Callum Jefferson, Emma Hodson, Harrison Smith, Joel Rothery, Kai Gill (C) and Luke Brennan.


On Saturday, the first team faced Nottingham Forrest PFC and secured a 2 - 1 win. The goal scorers was Harrison Smith and Luke Brennan Following a break, Electric Eels then faced Leeds Dynamos a difficult game where Eels where under a lot of pressure. The full time score was 5 - 1 to Leeds Dynamos - goal scorer was Kai.


On Sunday, Electric Eels faced Villa Rockets resulting in a 3 - 1 defeat with Harrison Smith scoring the goal for Eels. Then the final match for Hull & East Yorkshire PFC first team was against Teesside Steel resulting in a 4 - 0 defeat.


Hull & East Yorkshire PFC finished in 9th position.
