Our first team kicked off game week 5 of the North East Powerchair Football League Championship against Middlesbrough PFC Academy at Middlesbrough Sports Village.

Head Coach Lee Brennan named Aston Wallis, Callum Jefferson, Harrison Smith, Kai Gill, and Luke Brennan, as his team. Both Emma Hodson and Joel Rothery were unavailable for selection.

The game against Middlesbrough PFC Academy resulted in a 4 – 0 win for Electric Eels. Goals scored from Kai Gill, Callum Jefferson, Luke Brennan and Harrison Smith.

The game against Newcastle United Foundation PFC resulted in a 1 – 0 win for Electric Eels. Following, some tough periods of Newcastle attacking, Eels remained composed and were able to counter attack seeing Luke Brennan score a goal.

Our first team have now finished their regional league season cementing a 3rd position in the table. The team are set for a tough upcoming weekend In the Optegra Championship, but are motivated and focussed for the final game week.
