Hull & East Yorkshire Powerchair Football Club are inviting members of the public in Hull & East Yorkshire to cheer on Electric Eels Academy this coming weekend. On Sunday 21 October, Electric Eels Academy will be competing in round 1 of the Switalskis Solicitors Yorkshire League.
Electric Eels Academy being their Yorkshire League 2018/19 campaign by playing three fixtures, first up is PHAB at 11:30 AM, then Bradford at 1:30 PM, and finish the first round by facing Leeds Centurions at 2:30 PM.
Academy team coach Kai Gill states the squad are ready for what will be a busy round. Kai said: "The team are ready and prepared for what will be a busy a round for the players. We have a couple of fresh new faces in the side and they've been training really well this pre season. This season is more a learning curve for the new players, we have spoken about where we would like to finish in the table, but the team know they will have to work hard for each other in both defence and attack. It's going to be great to see the new venue full of supporters and players playing at Hull University Sports Centre."
