Hull's First Ever Charity Footgolf Day

Two local charities have joined forces to create a one-of-a-kind fundraising event. 360 Grassroots Foundation and Hull & East Yorkshire Powerchair Football Club are inviting teams of four to just have fun at their Charity Footgolf Day.

The event, to be held on Friday 21st October at National Avenue Footgolf Centre between 12pm – 6pm, with all proceeds split between the two Hull-based charities.

Teams of four are invited to play nine holes of Footgolf including a buffet afterwards, raffle and refreshments available from the bar.

Hull & East Yorkshire Powerchair Football Club are a registered charity that aims to give disabled people of all ages and genders the chance to play powerchair football at a competitive or recreational level.

The 360 Grassroots Foundation supports under privileged and disadvantaged children to be able to participate in grassroots sport in the HU1 to HU9 post codes and has recently been awarded registered charity status.

Marketing & Communications Officer at Hull & East Yorkshire PFC, Kai Gill said: “We’re absolutely thrilled that we and 360 Grassroots Foundation will be part of this event and to know that people in and around Hull want to support two great causes. We wanted to work closely with a cause that we very much believed in, that’s where 360 Grassroots Foundation fitted that as no child should miss out on sport. When I came up with idea, I straight away spoke to Andy at 360, Chartered Accountants to see whether their foundation would be interested in the event. Since then, we have been working hard finalising all the details for the event and we are extremely appreciative of the Footgolf Centre for supporting us.”

Adrian Hunter, Managing Director at 360 Accountants and Chair of the 360 Grassroots Foundation added “When Kai approached us with his idea, we jumped at the chance of partnering with them. As a business and individually, we are very passionate in our support of local charities and organisations and work tirelessly to help as many people as we possibly can.

It will be a really fun event for everyone to enjoy, and, at the same time support two fantastic local charities”

Local businesses and families are being invited to enter a team of four for only £80. Those wishing to enter a team of four are asked to email Leanne at 360, Chartered Accountants via events@360accountants.co.uk where they’ll receive all necessary details about the event.
