Electric Eels First Team have been crowned champions of the North East Championship Regional League following an impressive unbeaten run.
The first team who consists of Kai (Captain), Kole, Joel, Luke and Emma played in a total of ten matches and won all of the games. A total of 61 goals were scored by the team.
Head coach Lee Brennan said: "It's great for the players to win some silverware. All the training they put in has paid dividends. We started the season as big favourites after dropping down a division but being favourites brings it's own pressures and the players coped with that really well. Massive thanks to Robbie who helped coach and manage the team as well. And lastly, let's remember that it's not just the players and coaches that make the team but all the parents, carers and siblings that travel to all the games - this trophy is for everyone involved with the club !"
