Electric Eels first team are back on the road this weekend as they head to Lee Westwood Sports Centre in Nottingham for round 4 MDUK Championship.
The first team are currently sat in 8th and are hoping to progress up the table this coming weekend.
On Saturday, the team face Cheltenham SW All Stars at 1pm then face AFC Bournemouth Warriors at 3:30 PM. On Sunday morning at 9:15 am they face Norwich City, later in the day they face Bolton Bullets at 2:15 pm.
Head coach, Lee Brennan states this weekend is all about playing with a smile and seeing what happens. He said: " We're into the 'business end' of the season now. We've 9 games left in the NL - 4 this weekend - and we'll be doing our best to accumulate points and get into the top half of the table from our current 8th place. We've dusted ourselves down after the last weekend and If we keep composed, concentrate and show that bit of guile, that extra bit of guile, in the final third then who knows. "
First Team Captain, Kai said: " We've been training really well and as a team we are ready for this weekend. The winter break has been nice for a while but, it's going to be great to get back in to matches. We've recently played in the NEPFL and we was happy with a lot of things and have been improving in training on areas we have highlighted as a team we wasn't happy about. Let's go and try our best to bring home the points, improve our league position. "
