Hull and East Yorkshire Powerchair Football Club are proud to announce a partnership with St Stephens Shopping Centre.
St Stephen’s, one of Hull’s most popular premier retail and leisure centre, have joined forces with Electric Eels. This is part of the centre wanting to connect with local community projects.
As part of the clubs Try It campaign, an awareness day has been embarked for the club to demonstrate the sport and fundraise in the shopping Centre. On Sunday 10th December, 10 – 4pm members of the public, can find out information of how to volunteer or join the club from Electric Eels hub, plus outside of TKMAXX players will be demonstrating the sport.
Sophie Oliver, Marketing Manager from St Stephen’s said: “We are always so impressed with the commitment and spirit of the Electric Eels. St Stephen’s has a long tradition of supporting sports in the community, so this is a great addition to our sponsorship activities and one which we hope will see the players and charity go from strength to strength!”
Speaking about the partnership, Kai Gill marketing & communications officer said: “We are very excited and grateful for the support from everyone at St Stephen’s Shopping Centre.
“We have been planning Electric Eels Day for a couple of months now, and the minute we spoke to St Stephen’s they have been very supportive since. The way St Stephen’s connects with community projects is unreal and something I’m sure they are proud of.
“This partnership highlights one of our aims to connect with the public more to help us move forward. We are always looking for new players and volunteers to help the club. “
