MS3 Networks sponsor local powerchair footballer Kai Gill

Ultrafast Full Fibre wholesaler provider, MS3 Networks continue to support the local community with their latest sponsorship of local powerchair footballer, Kai Gill.

The ultrafast full fibre wholesale network operator based in Hessle, East Yorkshire provide a range of futureproof connectivity options through their trusted partner ISPs to bring choice and save businesses and residents money on their broadband bills.

Kai, who suffers from Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy Type 2D, plays powerchair football for Hull & East Yorkshire Powerchair Football Club. Despite, not being able to walk, move his arms and rely on others to help him as well as using a cough assist and ventilator when needed he continues to not let it stop him from living his life to the full. The 27 year-old has been playing powerchair football for almost 10 years.

Powerchair Football is a unique sport that provides opportunities for people with a high level of impairment to access the game of football. It is the only active team participation sport for people who use electric wheelchairs. The sport is fast-paced, dynamic and very enjoyable to watch. Due to the unique nature of the Powerchair Football, it allows all ages, disabilities and both genders to compete together.

Kai plays at both national and regional league level for Electric Eels first team as well as their captain and the clubs marketing & communications officer.

The sponsorship will see Kai carry MS3 Networks branding on his powerchair football bumper, social media and support MS3 with increasing their brand awareness.

Speaking on the sponsorship, Kai Gill said: “ I’m delighted and completely overwhelmed to receive support from MS3 Networks. It’s exciting times ahead for MS3 who have continued to roll out their Ultrafast full fibre in Hull along with Scunthorpe, Grimsby and Cleethorpes. With the cost of living increasing, families are struggling to afford to pay bills and are looking for more affordable services such as internet. This is where I believe MS3 Networks can help.

He continued: “One thing I’ve discovered with MS3 Networks is how close they work with their community and how it’s an integral part of their business. That really stood out for me and something I strongly believe in. This is just the start of exciting times for MS3 Networks and I’m really looking forward to working closely with MS3 Networks.“

Adam Kelly, Marketing Manager at MS3 Networks said “Having supported Hull & East Yorkshire Powerchair Football Club as a member of the Electric Eels 100 club since the beginning of the year, we were delighted to be able to offer our further support. Kai is a truly inspirational person and a great ambassador for powerchair football, we are thrilled to be able to work with him further as our relationship grows, supporting him to reach his goals.”
