Hull & East Yorkshire Powerchair Football Club are inviting members of the public to come along and cheer on our first team. Electric Eels will face MDUK Premiership side Sale United PFC at The Allam Sports Centre, Hull University on Saturday 18th January in round 2 of the Goals Beyond Grass WFA Cup. The match will kick off at 12pm.
In round 1 Electric Eels gained a win over Premiership side Manchester United PFC following an end to end match finishing 6-6 after extra time, resulting in penalties. Electric Eels won 4-3.
Marketing & Communications officer, Kai said: " This is a great opportunity for members of the public within the Hull, East Yorkshire and Humber region to come, watch and cheer on our first team. As the captain, it's always great to lead the team onto the pitch even more so with our supporters and even new spectators cheering us on. We are training hard and trained during the christmas period to ensure we continue our cup run this season. We know the match we face will be difficult but, if we stick to our game plan and work as a team I'm sure we can gain the result. "
