Hull & East Yorkshire Powerchair Football Club are looking for new players. Powerchair Football is a fast & dynamic game aimed at wheelchair users. No experience is needed, all ages and genders are welcome. If you live in Hull, East Yorkshire, East Riding of Yorkshire or the Humber Estuary then come along. Some of our players travel from far as Sheffield.

We have spare equipment waiting for new players, including specialised football chairs or we can fit ‘bumpers’ to standard electric day chairs. You can come to try powerchair football before deciding if you want to compete to use the club as a platform to speak to other people with a condition similar to yours. WE ARE ONE BIG COMMUNITY!

We train at The Allam Sports Centre at the University of Hull most Saturdays, times & dates are on our Facebook and Twitter pages. The University of Hull has fantastic facilities for disabled people including a Changing Place. If you require to use a hoist for transfer, please bring your own sling.

Because it’s a chance for them to experience something new and they can also get the sport in their day to day lives. Also, it’s a chance to play for a team.
